Pogliano Milanese is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about northwest of Milan. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 8,214 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The municipality of Pogliano Milanese contains the ''frazione'' (subdivision) Bettolino. Pogliano Milanese borders the following municipalities: Lainate, Nerviano, Rho, Vanzago, Pregnana Milanese, Arluno. In the small town there are a few and essential shops but there is a big area for the market near the sport club. Over there is possible to play volleyball during the whole year and in the summer everyone should have a swim in the new water-park which has been opened in June 2014.
